PRESIDENT'S REPORT 2023

ICRI – GA Chapter President’s Report 2023

Dear Members and Chapter Sponsors,

As we enter a new year, I want to start by thanking you for selecting me to serve as your 2023 ICRI Georgia Chapter President. I am truly honored and committed to leading our chapter throughout another successful year! I also want to acknowledge the dedicated leadership of our immediate Past President Niko Podeszwa, as well as all those that served on the 2022 GA Chapter Board of Directors.

Through the challenges presented to us all during the pandemic, our Chapter continued to push forward, and 2022 presented us with an opportunity to hit the ground running! Among our many achievements last year, most notable was being selected as the host Chapter for the Fall ICRI National Convention held in Atlanta. Along with the generous support of our Corporate Sponsors, the GA Chapter Board was able to organize and successfully execute our host duties and provide convention attendees with two memorable social outings.

Moving forward in 2023, I want to encourage continued participation in our monthly educational luncheons and other yearly social events. Our Annual Spring Scholarship Golf Tournament continues to grow each year and I am confident we can continue this trend in 2023! The success of this event is critical to determining the funds available for scholarship award(s) during our year-end holiday party. Last year, not only did our Scholarship Committee receive the largest number of applications to date, the funds raised during the 2022 Golf Tournament provided our Chapter the opportunity and privilege to award a total of three scholarships to highly accomplished local university students!

I am looking forward to a great year of collaboration among industry peers, as we continue following the ICRI statement of purpose: “To improve the quality of concrete restoration, repair and protection, through education of, and communication among, the members and those who use their services.”

We cannot thank our Membership and Corporate Sponsors enough for your support. The Georgia Chapter of ICRI would not be possible without you!

Please do not hesitate to reach out with any questions or suggestions as to how we can improve your Membership experience. The Georgia Chapter of ICRI is ready and willing to assist in any way we can!

Sincerely,
