    On February 25, 2021, please join us as long time GA Chapter Member and Past President, Joshua Lloyd, PE and George Harrison, with SGS TEC Services will be giving the following presentation “Building Repurposing: Problem, Evaluation and Solutions”. During this Virtual Lunch'N'Learn, the team from SGS TEC will provide an overview of building repurposing projects. The focus of this presentation will be a broad overview of building repurposing projects, from vision to condition assessment and testing, to design and construction. The following key points will be addressed.

    1. What are the basic codes or design guidelines from ICRI and ACI that help in accurate and thorough condition assessments.
    2. What non-destructive and exploratory services are available and how to develop a scope for evaluating existing structures for as-built plan preparation and potential strengthening design(s)
    3. What are the typical solutions for concrete repair or strengthening, and how to approach cost effective designs
