2018 Outstanding Concrete Repair Project Awards

About the Awards

ICRI-GA conducts an awards program each year to honor and recognize outstanding projects in the concrete repair industry that have been performed in our own backyard. The winning projects are honored each year at the annual ICRI-GA Holiday Party and through a personalized submission from the Georgia Chapter to the ICRI Concrete Repair Bulletin on your behalf!

Judging criteria. Entries will be judged on uniqueness, use of state-of-the-art methods, use of materials, functionality, value engineering, and aesthetics. Currently, the Georgia chapter is reaching out to other ICRI organizations in the southeast to see if we can utilize their Board of Directors to review and select the project of the year. If this does not pan out, the judges will be the current Georgia Chapter Board members – consisting of engineers, contractors, consultants, and manufacturers. Should a conflict of interest arise, the conflicting party will be removed from the voting process.

Eligibility. The project must be completed after January 1, 2017, or substantially complete before October 31, 2018. The company submitting the entry MUST be an ICRI company member. The portion of the project performed by the submitting company must amount to at least 25% of the project cost (This does not apply to design firms or owners). A subcontract for the repair portion of a larger project will be considered as the project.

Deadline. The deadline for receipt of entries is October 31, 2018, 11:59 pm EDT.

Cost. The cost for each entry shall be $50.00.

Awards. Winning project will be presented at the 2018 Georgia Chapter Holiday Party. Additionally, the ICRI-GA chapter will cover the cost for this project to be admitted to the ICRI National Project of the Year the following year ($250 value) and ICRI-GA will issue a write up to ICRI National for submission in the next issue of the Concrete Repair Bulletin (CRB).
